My husband has the OLED LG TV, and neither one of us could notice a difference in the contrast and brightness. The two look almost exactly the same, with maybe a small difference in the true blacks. The OLED can display blacks slightly better, but it’s not a huge difference. The picture on my Nano did go out after owning it for less than a month, & I had to exchange it. Not sure if that’s just bad luck or not. We’ve had the OLED for 9 months & haven’t had any problems.

OLEDs are a tier above NANO and offer a greater contrast and color display. Self-lighting OLED offer perfect black, intense color and infinite contrast. ^Daphane
