“Is the circuit board inside the control panel protected from steam and heat caused from cooking? I'm currently looking to purchase this LG range to replace my current one (only five years old) because the circuit board inside the control panel was damaged form steam produced while boiling water and other cooking which produced steam. Due to this circuit board damage on my current range I'm only able to use the stove top and am not able to access even the clock or timer functions let alone use the oven. Needless to say I'm very dissapointed (my current range is a Maytag) and want to make sure that these delicate components inside the control panel are sufficiently protected against damage from steam and other properties produced from normal cooking in this LG range. Thank You in advance for your help.”
