“Hi, Is the silver coil spongy piece in the oven bottom cntr supposed to be indented (see pics)? And the right front cooktop surface has a smudge/arbrasion area. Can this be replaced?”

I just bought the same oven. The spongy piece at the bottom does have an indentation in it about like you picture. The cook top shouldn't have any abrasions in it. Don't know if the cook top by itself can be replaced. I would call someone's attention to it wherever you bought it or call LG.
