• Range LSGL6337F has a 3 part grate, left/right/center. There are 5 burners. The center (oval) burner has 10,000 BTU. The center, oval burner is for use with a griddle or oval pots. ^Daphane

• 10,000 BTU. Yes, you can cook on it. The range comes with the griddle as well as a grate for the center oval location.
