• Yes, you need electricity bec most gas/propane l appliances now are electric start, but it is just 110 not 30+ amp 220. I am also on propane and did have to change the orifices but called LG and they were specific to this range and only about $35 not what i saw on Amazon.

• This range has Electrical Requirements of 120 Volt, 60 Hz, properly grounded dedicated circuit protected by a 15 or 20 Amp circuit breaker or slow blow fuse. ^Daphane
