• Yes, it is pretty quiet though. I wouldn't say it is whistling, but there is a slight fan noise. It's quieter than my exhaust fan turned on low. Not sure how loud it would have to be for you to find it disturbing, but it's not a problem for me.

• The only noises referenced in the Owner's Manual are fan noises and clicking noise caused by electric spark igniters from the burners. ^Daphane
