How does this range vent? null

The oven vents towards the cook top burners and it can become very hot.

Forget the vent. This oven is terrible. Bakes are uneven from front to back and top to bottom; depending on which oven is used. Preheat is horribly inaccurate. Two techs have told us to wait upto one hour after the oven has preheated to improve the bake quality. We have been told this is part of an LG oven working to specification. Please just buy a different brand.
