Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The native refresh rate of the panel is 120 Hz, which is pretty much the standard for UHD sets these days. Cycling at 240 Hz is only useful for panels doing 3D with active shutter glasses that split 120 Hz to each eye separately to reduce flicker. Because this TV is passive 3D, more than 120 Hz is unnecessary. The 3D on this set is superior to most other sets by the way, including Sony XBR series sets, because it is flicker free, has a feature to correct color shift, and has minimal loss of brightness with 3D. The passive glasses also don't require batteries and are cheap and light weight. A pity this level of quality didn't come out until 3D's last breath. It might have survived for the home market.
