how is sound do u need sound bar null

It's like any other modern flat panel TV - terrible. That's not really the manufacturer's fault it's physics, there's physically nowhere in there to install a useful set of speakers. You definitely will want a soundbar or some other external solution. That's just how all modern TVs are.
