• I expect they transposed the box and TV dimensions or it was a misprint. The TV definitely fits in the box. (Or the box is a Tardis. Sorry, couldn't resist)

• TVs are measured diagonally. So all TVs will not be as wide as their size if the bezel is small enough. And this has a tiny bezel.

• A tv screen is measured diagonally, so the viewing area can be 56.7 inches wide, but actually be less wide.
