You’ll have no problem doing that, I connected a Sonos beam to the HDMI arc port the TV detected it and the remote controls it seamlessly Including volume and on/off functions Seems like a lot of TV for the money I’m happy with my purchase, Note, I was unable to mount the sound bar to the TV itself, so it sits on top of my cable box, the Sanus brand Beam mounting unit is not compatible with this TV
