This TV does indeed support ARC and in fact it supports the next generation of ARC, eARC, which allows for a higher data rate and improved audio quality if your equipment supports it,

The advantage of the HDMI ARC port is that it allows you to send audio downstream or upstream through the same HDMI cable. HDMI ARC can also pass higher-resolution audio including formats found on Blu-ray: Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio. These formats can't get transmitted across optical. In terms of simplicity, HDMI also passes video signals. ^CP

ARC is available, but strictly through HDMI.
