The E7 and G7 model are almost identical in picture quality and specs. The only difference I am aware of is the glass is .03 inches thicker on the G7 to give more depth to the picture. The main difference is the G7 come with a 4.2 surround sound system built onto the bottom of the tv. This adds close to 100 pounds to the tv from the specs I have seen. The G7 is part of lg’s Signature line.
