Mine is mounted on a single stud and then drywall. If you have proper drywall mollies, it will hold the TV. The 77inch G1 is not overly heavy and should be well within the parameters of any Molly for the size bolt being used. If you want to use larger bolts, you can use a drill bit to widen the holes on the supplied mount (that’s what I did to ensure it is well over the weight requirements for the TV)
