“I have a G1 55" mounted on the wall with the mount it came with and planning on upgading to a G1 77". I know that the G1 77" comes with its own mount but do I need to take the old one down and then use the new one, drilling new holes and measuring again?”

• Yes , the 77” is obviously heavier so you need to use the mount that comes with it at least I would

• You should redo it. The LG G1 has a cutout for the mount to allow it to be flush to the wall. Using another mount would be a waste.
