A:AnswerI have the 77"G1 and my seating position is 15 feet from the screen. For me what you mostly watch on tv makes the difference. If you watch mostly news and or tv programs, the 77" is more than enough. If you watch sports and movies NO TV IS TOO BIG! For me, the 77" is the perfect fit for both.
A:AnswerCheck detailed reviews on LG OLEDS and premium LEDs for brightness Levels.
We have large windows and OLED is plenty bright even in daytime, but are windows are only 12’ high (not a prow) at 90 degrees to the TV. There is no direct sunlight on the TV. From reviews, I ascertained that the brightest TVs were premium LEDs and would work best if you are needing the brightest TVs. On our porch, we have a lower cost LED that in the afternoon gets direct sunlight and shows that direct sunlight is too much for this LED, but I tolerate it to watch sports.
You do not mention which direction your prow windows face. Or which direction the tv faces. Or how high on the wall. Check your proposed tv location during the day to see if any direct sunlight falls on the tv spot. And this will be different for the time of day and each season.

A:AnswerMine is mounted on a single stud and then drywall. If you have proper drywall mollies, it will hold the TV. The 77inch G1 is not overly heavy and should be well within the parameters of any Molly for the size bolt being used.
If you want to use larger bolts, you can use a drill bit to widen the holes on the supplied mount (that’s what I did to ensure it is well over the weight requirements for the TV)

A:AnswerThe screens are up to 30% brighter in the newer models but lack a feature they had in previous models called BFI. If you're not gaming on it then this should not be an issue. If you are gaming look up Black Frame Insertion.
A:AnswerPretty sure they’re identical, but the 77 will come with a new one. Validate by just holding the new one up to the old one and compare the size. If they’re identical as I believe they are, then you’ll know you’ll be ready to go.
A:AnswerIf your using the furnished flat mount, no clearance at all as it sits flush to the wall. The mount allows the tv to come out from the wall about 4-6 to hook cables etc. The only depth you’ll see is the tv itself. The flat mountbis minimal.
A:AnswerThe one in my family room is 33" from floor to bottom edge of tv after mounting. The one in my loft is 30". Personal opinion: I would suggest 30". You might think it's low, but unless you have very high seating and are super tall, and if you like to lounge while watching tv/playing video games, 30" is great because it's low enough to be extremely comfortable on your neck but high enough not to get in the way of your feet if they're stretched out on an ottoman, for example. It doesn't look weird on the wall either.
