Plasma, LCD, Oled, they will all burn in to some degree at some point, its the way it is. I replaced a 65CXPUA (16000+ hrs) which had no burn in issues and my tvs run and i play games on them. I also use the Oled care built within the set. So far i have 344 hrs on this new set (G3) and there are no issues. I would suggest having your settings correct for your viewing area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Horrible burn-in after 5 years, only 9,000 hrs. LG said to pound sand. I don’t know about anyone else, but spending $2400 on a TV that lasts only five years is beyond ridiculous. Avoid.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have banding on the current 65" LG OLED I have now and it needs replacing. My first LG about 6 years ago, Best Buy replaced but I am not sure even if you have the warranty (extra warranty thru BB) if they will cover image retention or burn in because they KNOW IT's GOING TO HAPPEN... Waiting on the Sony Bravia 9 Mini LED to hopefully get rid of this constant LG Burn in.. LG makes the panels for Sony if you didn't know..
