You can certainly do that with this device. Best way, for visual representation is to watch a youtube video about it. But when you load a cd, your computers default music player, usually windows media player, will boot the disc. From Windows media player you have the option to burn the dysc, and once you click on that option, the program should walk you through what to do. It usually just downloads the cd to the program, ejects the cd, then you put in the blank cd you want to burn it on, and the program will continue burning it for you. Hope this helps
