I don't know if Walgreen's requires proprietary software to read content they put on discs on a standard burned disc. It does not appear to be the case, as per their info below. =================================== From Walgreen's Customer Service: How do I copy images from a Walgreens CD onto my computer? To copy the images from your Walgreens Photo CD to your computer, please follow the steps below: For PC: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. When you see "Walgreens Photo CD" in the CD-ROM drive, RIGHT click on the CD and select "Explore" (Windows XP, Vista) or "Open" (Windows 7) from the menu. 2. A new window will open with two folders inside. Double click the "Pictures" folder. 3. Drag and drop your images from the "Pictures" folder on the photo CD into a folder (such as "My Pictures") on your computer. (You can select all of the images by clicking "CTRL" and the "A" keys at the same time.) 4. After you have copied the images onto your computer, you can eject the photo CD. For Mac: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. When you see the "Walgreens Photo CD" icon on your desktop, double click the icon. The CD will open in a Finder window. 2. Double click the "Pictures" folder. 3. Drag and drop your images from the "Pictures" folder on the photo CD into a folder (such as "Pictures" or "Documents") on your computer. (You can select all of the images by clicking "CTRL" and the "A" keys at the same time.) 4. After you have copied the images onto your computer, you can eject the photo CD.
