Hi there. We understand your inquiry regarding the compatibility of your LG External USB Double-Layer DVD Drive with macOS 13.3 (Ventura). We are pleased to inform you that this drive is designed to be plug-and-play and is compatible with Mac OS X 10.7.5 and higher, which includes newer versions like macOS 13.3 Ventura. Since the drive is powered through the USB connection, we recommend connecting it directly to your Mac's USB port or using a powered USB hub to ensure it receives sufficient power to read and write discs properly. While the included CyberLink software is generally for Windows, your Mac will natively support the drive's basic functions like playing movies or burning data through the Finder and built-in apps. We want to ensure you have a smooth and reliable experience with your external drive on your HP laptop. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-8x-external-usb-double-layer-dvdrw-cd-rw-drive-black/JXTZZLCVZK For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected]. —Renzo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. I have Ventura on my Mac Book and I did a drag and drop to a DVD +RW with no problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I connected it to my 2018 MacBook Pro with Ventura, with adapters, and burned files from the laptop to a DVD+RW without any problems. I just did a drag and drop through finder. The software that comes with it if for Windows only, so if you use burning software now, it should work.
