Will this work in my truck by plugging it into my ubs? null

I don't know - it would depend on whether your port is input/output or input only (reason being the device powers through the USB). If your port will supply power, it may work. If your port is input only (I suspect it is) the device would not run. Check your owners manual or talk to vehicle service department. My Terrain manual said NO.
