• This is designed for PC and Mac only. It will not work as a device for another device that's not a PC or Mac.

• I do not believe you can plug and play with your car. It needs a driver which I assume your car's computer cannot install it so it won't recognize the CD drive at all. You can, however, plug and play with your Windows/Mac computers. You can write blank CD with songs and play it over your car's CD reader.
