• Yes. Just plug in to your computer and you're ready to go. When doing the set up, I thought you had to install all the extra programs but if you don't want them, just put your CD in and you're ready to start listening. Hope this helps.

• Yes, it comes with a USB cable. Not sure what specifications you're looking for. It worked just fine with my iMac.
