Can I hook this up to a TV? null

No, it needs software to play DVDs, it's really meant as a data drive but if you have the program in your Computer you could watch a DVD.

Assume you could but have not tried. You could try hooking to TV. I bought solely for music input/ output to/from computer. It is quite lightweight and moves around when ejecting a disc. However, it has been functioning well.
