“Will this LG DVD player work for an Hp laptop? Because I just bought this item and I’m not sure if to return it or keep it before I open it. Want to reassure since on the box it says compatible with MacBook and windows.”

This drive requires a Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, or Mac OS X Operating System and a Pentium IV 2.4 GHz or higher CPU with a hard disc of 20GB or more free space and video memory of 64 MB. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It works with my brand new hp Laptop 17-cn0053cl. I bought the lawptop 2 weeks ago and the LG drive at the same time. I just set it up and it works great as far as I know so far. I say, open it up and give it a try!
