“I just bought the LG Ultra Slim DVD Writer with I idea that I could write on CD's from my computer. The message that I keep getting is you cannot write with this writer. It says that it is compatible with a Mac. What am I missing?”

Thanks for the response. I had neglected to identify a playlist to record. Once I did everything worked as expected.

The LG - 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive - Black, Model # SP80NB80 is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Mac OS X Operating Systems. It does not come with burning software so you will need to download and install that to write to CDs on your computer...^IFV
