“When I install the CD that came with the drive and click on auto run it says "You can't open the application Autorun.exe because Microsoft windows applications are not supported on macOS" . The box has both on it Mac and windows.”

What the box for the LG Slim Portable DVD Writer DVD Disc Playback & DVD M-DISC™ Support, Model # SP80NB80 is alluding to when it has both Mac and Windows on it is that the drive is compatible with the Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Mac OS X v.10.7.5 or Higher Operating Systems. The Installation CD that comes with the drive (Power2Go; PowerBackup) from Cyberlink is only compatible with Windows Operating Systems. Regrettably, Cyberlink does not make a burning software that is compatible with MacOS. You will need to visit the Apple site to find an alternative...^IFV
