Yes, it works with the latest version of Windows 10, but if you want to play movie DVDs on it, you’ll have to purchase a software upgrade for $65 or buy a separate software program. I bought a simple DVD player program from Microsoft for $15 that did the trick. Maybe this is standard policy for external DVD players, but in my opinion, when you buy a DVD player it should be able to play ANY DVD without having to purchase special software. The hardware itself is a great value and is very compact and lightweight, although it’s a little flimsy. It comes with a 1-year warranty.
