I have a LG32lf40 television I want to use without cable or satellite connections . I tried a RCA antennae with shield and rabbit ears but no picture appears only a bunch of static. Are there settings in remote control box? If so where or which buttons? null

You need to change the input on the TV to antenna and then make sure your antenna is plugged into the antenna input on the TV and it should work fine
