• The LG - 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive - Black, Model # SP80NB80 was released in 2017 before macOS high Sierra version 10.13.6 was released so the owner's manual only says that it is compatible with Mac OS X v.10.7.5 or Higher Operating Systems. It doesn't come with a software installation disc for Mac, but your acOS high Sierra version 10.13.6 should be able to detect the drive...^IFV
