This my exact same question. It is the reason I chose this particular Chrome Book. It does not have a USB connection port. I assumed this had some kind of adaptor to attach the device to the Chrome Book. I am ready to return this to Best Buy which is a pity because I really like the Chrome Book!

This will work with chromebook. Just plug it in the USB port.

I would think it would work as long as there is an open USB port. Best buy is great at returns if it doesn't work. Maybe take your devise with you and they will try it out in the store. I plugged into laptop port and it played instantly.
