A:AnswerThis device is intended for use with a computer. It can be used to play a music CD when it is connected to your computer via the USB cable, and use an app like Windows Media player to produce the CD audio on you computers speakers. You may be disappointed with the audio quality unless your computer speakers are very good. My monitor has built in speakers that are barely adequate so I don't bother to listen to music with the computer.
A:AnswerIt works with my new HP 17-4xxx laptop running Windows 11. Caveat - the CD that comes with it has a DVD player that does not work with Windows 10 or 11. The second free DVD player I tried from the Microsoft Store worked well. (AnyDVD ??)
