A:AnswerThe filters for the LG FlushFit™ 24" Top Control Smart Built-In Stainless Steel Tub Dishwasher with 3rd Rack, 1 Hour Wash & Dry Cycle and 42dBA - Stainless Steel, Model # LDNTH753S have to be cleaned to remove food residue caught in filters to prevent the buildup of odor-causing bacteria and
possible drainage problems.
For the best wash performance, the filters should be washed after each load. If food debris remains in the filter, it may cause an odor.
In areas with hard water, the filter should be cleaned at least once a month with a soft brush.
Clean the filters using non-abrasive materials and warm running water...^Ivan.
A:AnswerHello, there! Thanks for sharing this question to us about the LG Dishwasher (LDNPH753S). On the lower rack, all tines can be adjusted up or down in opposite directions: • Push the tines down to create more space for larger cookware such as pots and pans. • Lift the tines up to lock them into place for items like bowls, plates, and cups. You may access this link related to your concern: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dishwasher-tine-rack-adjustment--1366645531607?srsltid=AfmBOorsT6kmSUw3WZWg7_bVL2_GjK2206FdPn11gBOVMrHYGo7iHrn0.
This flexibility helps optimize loading and ensures smooth movement of the rack when the silverware tray is positioned correctly. A:AnswerWhether the LG FlushFit™ 24" Top Control Smart Built-In Stainless Steel Tub Dishwasher with 3rd Rack, 1 Hour Wash & Dry Cycle and 42dBA - Stainless Steel, Model # LDNTH753S, requires an air gap, depends on your local plumbing codes.
It is mandatory in many areas like California and Washington, to prevent contaminated water from siphoning back into the dishwasher. If not required, a "high loop" installation is often an accepted alternative.
Check your local building codes or consult with your local building inspector about whether it is required in your area...^Ivan.

A:AnswerMy GE Profile lasted 10 years. It was ugly but it worked. The high end Kitchenaid lasted about 4 years with plastic parts breaking regularly and rusted racks. The stainless of KA is horrible for fingerprints and cleaning. My LG lasted 4 years before a door and noise problem started. LG is best looking and most functional with mobile racks. Shell out for the 5 year Geek Squad warranty and if it kicks in less than 5 years, you are covered. Appliances are just not made to last these days. It’s annoying. I have always purchased the higher end models and they still don’t last long before needing repairs or replacement. I think the days of the 20 year appliances are gone unfortunately. I have never owned a Bosch so I can’t comment on that. I’m not a fan of the rack tine configuration on Bosch.
A:AnswerThis product comes with a power cable to plug into an outlet. But some older products are hard wired to the house so if you are interested in buying this product do let the salesperson know how your old product is connected. My salesperson asked me when I bought mine.
