No and No.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does work with the volume control of an LG TV as long as it's one of the newer models with the LG Sound Sync (wireless) features. It should also work with non LG televisions with wireless bluetooth but I cannot confirm this. The television I own does not allow you to choose the wireless speaker option and the TV speaker option at the same time so it can't play both the TV speakers and the wireless speaker at the same time.
