The timer is really locked into 10-second increments? There's no way to set it for an actual number of seconds? For certain items timing is crucial. A person shouldn't have to stand by the microwave & stop it early. null

You appear to be correct.  I  started searching in disbelief as well.

I guess I'll invent a work-around... if you want something cooked for 45 seconds, set it to 50 then stand there the whole time and open the door when the counter gets to 5.  Seems a tad silly, but not overly difficult--

But honestly that's not even the worst part.  Want to cook for 3:20 ?  Set it to 3:30 and stand there for minutes until it gets down to 10 seconds!  3:20 is unreachable because at 3:00 it switches to half minute increments.   Also unreachable 20:30, you have to either go 20 minutes or 21, those are your choices.

You may be hitting the kitchen timer on the right side of the panel. Try hitting power and then hit the “+” to increase time in 10 second increments. Close door and hit start
