The size of the inside space is 14" by 13.5" you can place a big microwable plate of food or microwable tray as well.

HI Ann. Regrettably, neither the videos nor the owner's manual for the LG 1.5 cu. ft. NeoChef™ Countertop Microwave with Smart Inverter and EasyClean®, Model # LMC1575SW show or indicate if the colon for the time blinks or not. Hopefully, someone that owns this product will be able to answer that for you. The W x H x D dimensions for the cavity are 15.43" x 10.31" x 15.98" Those measurements multiplied together give 2,542.15 inches which is 1.5 cubic feet (actually 1.47 cu.ft.)...^IFV
