“Can I have the cable cord in my new LG LMC1575ST replaced with a 15 ft cable cord? It doesn't reach the wall outlet. I assume the 15 ft extension cord for appliances cannot be used with this microwave oven. Please advise.”

NeoChef™ Countertop Microwave with Smart Inverter and EasyClean®, Model # LMC1575ST. Like with most major appliances that have a high current draw, use of an extension cord is not recommended. However, if it is necessary to use an extension cord, be sure to use a 3-wire extension cord that has a 3-b;ade grounding plug, and a 3-slot receptacle that will accept the plug on the microwave as instructed in the owner's manual. The marked rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the elctrical rating of the microwave...^IFV
