• Yes, just pause it rather than shutting it down. You can switch between additional HDMI inputs to use the TV for other purposes and then just return to this input after and resume play. Hope this helps.

• If you stop a DVD during playback and resume at a later date the movie will start resume where it left off with Last scene memory feature. This unit memorizes the last scene from the last disc that is viewed. The last scene remains in memory even if you remove the disc from the unit or switch off the unit. If you load a disc that has the scene memorized, the scene is automatically recalled. Please note that Last Scene Memory function for a previous disc is erased once a different disc is played. ^Daphane
