• I don't think so. Best to check w/ Best Buy. I've never had any dvd's from foreign sources.

• This player does not come region free. There are some companies that buy the player and sell it aftermarket upgrading it to region free. If you search for region feee bklu-ray player you will find these specialty companies. If you buy the Normal one and try to play dvds from another region such a region B you will get an error message.
