“Is internet connection mandatory for use? I dont keep my TV connected( I dont have the net ready tools and i have no interest in connecting my tv to the net at all) to the net all i need is for this to play blue rays.”

• No need. I didn’t connect the Ethernet and i have no problems playing Blu-ray Discs.

• As far as I know, you do no need internet connection to use the blu-ray player.
