I just purchased this player. and the picture is too large when playing DVDs, not all the picture shows on the screen. It is connected to a Visio 390I - A1TV Smart TV. The TV aspect ratio is set to 16:9 original, resolution is 180P. Help? null

Fyi, I solved my problem by connecting the port for the blu ray to HDMI1 on the TV, and swapped the Comcast cable box to HDMI3. Not sure why this made a difference, but the picture is fine now!

I don't have that problem but both my Dish remote and TV remote have a format button so that I can change the screen size.
See if you have these options as well. Also the blue ray has a settings feature.
