• Yes. Streaming content is received over WIFI by the Blu-ray player and sent to TV via the same HDMI connection.

• Yes, you can use all features on this player with a TV that does not have smart features.

• Yeah, it eliminates the need for a smart TV, but to be honest I’d look for another brand or model, this one has a lot of issues.

• Hello, the streaming options are built into the the player and then sent to the TV and therefore the TV does not have to be a smart TV. ^AC
