it does on my machine, it is a pretty standard device, so should work with all machines running windows or linux of any version you are likely to try it with.

Not sure, it didn’t come with a cord & I haven’t been able to locate the correct cord to try it yet.

Almost all versions of Windows will detect the new hardware and load the necessary drivers. This has worked for me even with older Windows 7 installations. Good luck.
