• This unit is designed to take the place of a worn-out or inoperable drive on an existing computer. It has the power plug and the other connector that are plugged into by cables within the computer it is installed in. It then steps in in place of your old drive and uses the inputs already on your computer, such as the USB ports and the inputs on your sound card. You will have to open the computer to install it. There are other drives available at Best Buy that are designed to plug into a USB port, These Units have only the USB port, and might be what you want if you want inputs/outputs on your CD/DVD drive.

• This internal drive (GH24NSB0) has a SATA host interface. There are not inputs to support external devices. ^Daphane
