• No, this an internal drive. Today, Dell's Inspiron computers have a disc drive from a laptop that seems built right into the case. While it is possible to get it to work with SATA connectors, it would be highly impractical if your case doesn't have 5.25" drive bays. Try getting an external drive instead.
