yes, is there anyway that the headset can give me an alert notification like when i get a text message I had a bluetooth before now I have purchased the hbs750 just because i was tired of the thing being in my ear all day. i need it to give me a notification when i get a text and not just the incoming call or the out of range vibration

Yes there are a number of free apps you can get at the play store that will not only read you the text but allow you to send one as well. all hands free

you can download the LG BT Reader application (Google Play Store) for Android based devices.
- when you pair the HBS-750 with your phone, the BT Reader is turned on.
- the headset will read the incoming text to you (i think it announces who sent the text).
- if you have a voice app on your device you can also make calls and transcribe to send text messages to your contacts.

It does give out text notification its just sound so it would have to be in your ear to hear it.

Unfortunately no. It doesn't have that capability that when you have an incoming text, it doesn't vibrate to notify you.
