I have the samsung galaxy note 3 and would like the headset to announce the incoming call for instance my contacts can u help me I purchased this headset and now I am trying to see if like the previous bluetooth if it has the ability to announce the incoming call if the name is in my contacts. Also does it have the ability to give me notifications from a text, email etc

No it just has a generic ring tone and you will just hear your notification t one.

Hello! I am an avid Samsung consumer and I have had the Note 3 for quite some time. I know that you can enable a feature in the phone under the accessibility section that reads out the contact before the ringtone. I am 99% sure this is in the vision section under accessibility, however you may find it in the normal phone sound options. I have not been able to verify if it will relay the speech to the headset, and not just the phone speaker, but I hope this helps!! Good luck!

I think you need to set that in the phone. The device will take the information from the phone. By default it says call answer and end.

It does let you know when you get a text and its a app on Google store thatwill read the text for you but it does not tell you wwho's calling you

It will read your text messages I don't have email notification on so not sure of that and far as I know it will not read the incoming call content

Hi. From my experience, yes. I think there's a LG application just for that, If I remember correctly. For me I use voice notification, just go into the settings, (in Sounds) and turned on voice notification or car mode. Now it may vary from the type of device you have. You may have to download a voice app, like a virtual assistant. I hope this information helps. Take care.

For iPhone it doesn't announce who's calling but you can hear the notifications for text and email
