Yes—you can absolutely switch from 240 Hz down to 60 Hz (or any supported intermediate rate) when needed. You have two easy methods: On-Screen Display (OSD): Press the joystick button on the back of the monitor to open the OSD menu. Navigate to Picture (or Game Adjust depending on firmware). Select Refresh Rate, then choose 60 Hz (or another preferred rate). PC Display Settings (Windows): Right-click your desktop and choose Display settings. Scroll to Advanced display. Under Choose display, pick your UltraGear monitor, then select 60 Hz from the Refresh rate dropdown. Troubleshooting step: If you don’t see 60 Hz as an option, please confirm you’re using the included DisplayPort cable (or a certified HDMI 2.1 cable for HDMI connections), and that your graphics card output resolution matches the monitor’s native 2560 × 1440. You may also power-cycle the monitor (unplug for 30 seconds, then plug back in) and update its firmware using LG’s OnScreen Control software to ensure full compatibility. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-ultragear-27-oled-240hz-0-03ms-freesync-and-nvidia-g-sync-compatible-gaming-monitor-with-hdr400-black/6595423.p?skuId=6595423 Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport and our team will be more than happy to explore any further solutions.
