“How do I take it off of standby. It has a white light instead of the traditional red one”

There is no standby mode. After a time of inactivity, it powers down sending a soft audio sound and flashing and speakers colorful light to let you know. Simply touch the recessed power button once to turn it back on and it should reconnect with your device.

In multi-pairing, the Bluetooth LED stays in white with the sound.
