Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the case is compatible with the finger print scanner. I did find that I had to position my finger more precisely once the case was on. I still estimate a 25% reduction in the finger print scanner functionality with the case on. The flash is perfectly contained in the round hole of the case, and it works perfectly on my 5s.

They both said “Buy the Lifeproof fre or Lifeproof nuud for the 5s specifically!" If it does not say 5s, it will not fit because of the flash opening especially. It will say 5 or 5s on the front of the box. Buy accordingly. Best Buy had no Lifeproof or Otterbox 5s cases in stock. Some people on line will tell you either fits the 5s…they don't.
